Training on Self-Presentation and Job Interview Preparation for BEU Students

A training session on the preparation of self-presentation documents and job interview preparation was held at Baku Engineering University (BEU) for students within the framework of career development.

Organized by the University's Enterprise Relations and Career Center, the event featured remarks by Fidan Gadimaliyeva Asadova and Meraj Baharov, Senior Talent Acquisition Specialists at Azərsun Holding, who provided students with information on key points related to career building. Within the framework of the topic "The Hidden Mechanism of Recruitment — From University to Career," they spoke about the skills necessary to succeed in the labor market, the stages of the recruitment process, and employers' expectations of candidates.

During the training, students were informed about the importance of properly preparing a CV. The specialists provided detailed information on the sections that must be included in a CV, its ideal structure, the aspects employers pay attention to when reviewing the document, and common mistakes that create a negative impression.

In addition, practical recommendations were provided on how to present oneself effectively in job interviews, strategies for responding to frequently asked questions, and codes of conduct that candidates should observe.

At the conclusion of the event, students' questions were answered.
