BEU Students Serve as Judges at SAF 2025

Students from Baku Engineering University (BEU) majoring in "Process Automation" - Jamal Hamidov and Ali Gulamалiyev served as judges at the International STEAM Azerbaijan Festival (SAF 2025).

At SAF 2025, thousands of young talents from 22 countries competed across 18 categories. Among more than 5,000 applications in fields such as robotics, artificial intelligence, renewable energy, drone and satellite technologies, arts, engineering, and innovative projects, 1,400 finalists were selected, including 202 participants from 19 different countries.

The BEU students serving as judges at the festival have achieved significant accomplishments in previous competitions. The team they represented won SAF in 2022 and went on to worthily represent our country at the international "VEX Robotics" competition held in the USA, achieving success. In subsequent years, they won championships three consecutive times at various STEAM festivals.

The participation of BEU students as judges at SAF 2025 holds great significance both in terms of sharing their knowledge and experience, and demonstrating the university's support for the development of young engineers.
