Another BEU staff member's article published in Q1-category journal

An academic article co-authored by Asmat Azizova, a research fellow at the Scientific Research Center of Baku Engineering University (BEU), has been published in the prestigious Journal of Molecular Structure. The Q1-category international journal is indexed in the Scopus database.

The article titled "Hydrogen-bonded supramolecular networks in hydrated nicotinoyl-hydrazones-based derivatives with partial covalent character of O–H···N and O–H···O hydrogen bonds: Insights from X-ray and computational studies" investigates the structure of hydrated nicotinoyl-hydrazone derivatives and the characteristics of hydrogen bonds through experimental and theoretical methods.

The research findings determined that hydration and isomerism directly affect the character of intermolecular hydrogen bonds and the stability of substances.
