October 2, 2026
The research results and innovative solutions presented by Baku Engineering University (BEU) at the "ADEX 2026" 6th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition attracted visitor interest on the exhibition's final day as well.
On the exhibition's last day, BEU's stand was visited by Colonel-General Madat Guliyev, Deputy Secretary of the Security Council under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Mir Jamal Pashayev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of "PASHA Holding" and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of "Sumgayit Technologies Park" LLC; as well as representatives of companies operating in the defense industry and technology sectors, and local and foreign participants. During the meetings, the results of the university's application-oriented research, their potential for practical application, and prospects for cooperation with industry were discussed.
The presentation of 11 research results and innovative solutions, developed based on research conducted at BEU's laboratories and significant for the defense industry, allowed the university to showcase its potential in this field. The fact that some of the results have undergone practical testing at relevant agencies, with positive results achieved, also confirmed their practical significance.
The "Loko GPS Tracker" system, developed based on LoRa P2P technology and displayed at the stand, was also among the projects that drew attention. The system's potential applications in defense, unmanned aerial vehicles, search and rescue, agriculture, and other fields were presented, as it is designed for use in areas without mobile communication or internet connectivity.
The three-day "ADEX 2026" exhibition served as a significant platform for BEU in terms of presenting research results to industry representatives, establishing new connections, and discussing possible areas of cooperation.
