Research Results Presented by BEU at "ADEX 2026" Attract Great Interest

The research results and innovative solutions presented by Baku Engineering University (BEU) at the "ADEX 2026" 6th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition (September 30 – October 2) have attracted great interest among exhibition participants.

On the second day of the exhibition, visitors to the university's stand included members of the Milli Majlis, representatives of well-known companies operating in the defense industry and other fields, as well as local and foreign exhibition participants. Visitors were provided with information on the results of BEU's application-oriented research, their potential applications in the defense industry, and their practical significance.

The exhibition presents 11 products and innovative solutions resulting from research conducted at BEU's Chemical Engineering Laboratory. They cover important areas such as initial ignition, energy transfer and amplification, the regulation of the combustion process, and the provision of propulsive force. The solutions presented include various compositions, solid rocket fuel, and nitrocellulose.

Some of the research results have undergone practical testing at relevant agencies, with positive results achieved, demonstrating their alignment with real industry needs.

The exhibition also features the "Loko GPS Tracker," an innovative tracking system developed by a young BEU staff member based on LoRa P2P technology. Designed to operate in areas without mobile communication or internet connectivity, the system enables the determination of the position of objects and equipment, the local transmission of coordinates, and the storage of data. The technology has potential applications in unmanned aerial vehicles, search and rescue, scientific research, agriculture, defense, and other fields.

The interest shown in the research results presented by BEU at "ADEX 2026" demonstrates that the university's application-oriented research, innovative developments, and opportunities for cooperation with industry are attracting attention.
