New trees planted on BEU campus

New trees have been planted at Baku Engineering University (BEU) to promote the "Green Campus" concept, including the preservation of ecological balance and support for greening initiatives implemented in the country.

University leadership, staff, and students actively participated in planting various types of trees on the campus territory in accordance with the nature, climate, and terrain of the Absheron Peninsula.

The initiative also serves as an important component of BEU's activity strategy aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals 13 (Climate Action) and 15 (Life on Land), contributing to the goals of ecosystem and environmental improvement, increase of green spaces, promotion of ecological culture, and combating climate change.
