May 25, 2026
Baku Engineering University (BEU) second-year student Ramal Agakishi, majoring in Process Automation Engineering, has been awarded a "Startup" certificate by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) for his project "Viralix."
"Viralix" is an artificial intelligence-based digital marketing, design, and advertising management platform. The platform provides businesses with social media management, advertising strategy development, content creation, design services, as well as automated Meta and TikTok advertising capabilities — all through a single unified system. Its primary objective is to optimize companies' marketing processes, enhance the efficiency of advertising management, and enable businesses to achieve high results with minimal resources.
The growing interest in the "Viralix" platform and its adoption by more than 20 clients within a short period reflects the increasing market demand for AI-based marketing automation solutions. The project draws particular attention as an innovative technology solution supporting the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises.
The certificate issued by SMBDA is considered a special status granted to innovative and technology-oriented projects. It provides grounds for the application of tax incentives on income derived from innovation activities, expansion of investment opportunities, and enhancement of the project's international development potential.
It is worth noting that Ramal Agakishi has distinguished himself through his successful endeavors in digital technologies, design, and marketing. In the next phase, plans are in place to introduce the "Viralix" platform to foreign markets and expand its operations.
Currently, the "Viralix" project operates as a resident of BEU Technopark. The project's achievement represents yet another successful outcome of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem taking shape at the university.
