The Student Scientific Society (SSS) of Baku Engineering University (BEU) has held a "Winter Science Festival" with the organizational support of the Pi Club. The main purpose of the festival is to identify young talents, stimulate them and create interest in science.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, BEU Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, Associate Professor Elchin Suleymanov said that interesting projects were presented at the festival this year as well, gave his recommendations to the youth and wished them success in their activities.
Later, the winning teams were awarded certificates and medals. According to the jury, "Black pages of science", "Humanoid robot - Dinogame", "Innovations in the protection of children's rights"(“Uşaq hüquqlarının müdafiəsində innovasiyalar”), "CO2toD device", "Metaverse" and several other submitted projects were awarded.
Winning projects (Landau School, Azerbaijan British College: ABC, Secondary school No. 3 in Saray settlement, Secondary school No. 2 in Saray settlement, Secondary school No. 10 in Lachin district, Secondary school No. 40 in Sumgayit city, Humanitarian and Technical lyceum in Balakan district, Secondary school No. 7 in Sabail district, Secondary school No. 2 in Gobu settlement, Ulajali village secondary school in Sabirabad district, Secondary school No. 2 in Khirdalan city, Zilanli village secondary school, Secondary school No. 28 in Sumgayit city) belonged to students of different city and district schools.
