The first international cooperation project has been started between the Foreign Languages Department of the Education Faculty of Baku Engineering University (BEU) and the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy.

As part of the project, Michael Moak, an American citizen, specialist in English language teaching methodology, new methods in foreign language teaching in the world, as well as TESOL specialist, has started training English teachers at BEU.  

 The coordinator of the project at BEU is the head of the Foreign Languages Department, Associate Professor Atraba Gul. The project envisages 8 hours of virtual training per week for English language teachers in the first semester. In the second semester, it is planned that the American specialist will train teachers and students live.
