A meeting has been held with the first-year students studying part-time at the Faculty of Engineering of Baku Engineering University (BEU).
Deputy dean of the faculty for educational affairs, associate professor Osman Mirzayev drew attention to the fact that this year for the first time part-time education was introduced at BEU and congratulated the students who will study in this form of education. He noted that 20 places were allocated for admission to each of the "Winemaking" and "Transport service" specialties of the Faculty of Engineering, and the planned places were fully filled.
Emphasizing that the meeting aimed to inform students about education, class attendance, discipline, and exams, the deputy dean gave full information about the duration of autumn and spring semesters.
Later, the head of the Department of Food and Biotechnology Ravan Rahimov spoke about educational plans, lesson schedules, as well as touched upon the reference and other technical issues to be presented to workplaces during the session.
At the end, the students' questions were answered.
