Orientation meetings with first-year undergraduate students continue at Baku Engineering University (BEU).

The next such meetings were organized for students of the Deprtments of Chemistry and Biology of Education Faculty. Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Seyran Gayibov gave general information about the university, as well as the format of the meeting.

Dean of Education Faculty, Associate Professor Elshad Abdullayev congratulated the students and touched upon the main tasks for the new academic year. He introduced the students with the highest scores in the Education Faculty (Khadija Abdullazade-Chemistry Education, 616.90 points, Fidan Ismayilzade-Mathematics Education, 616.30 points, Maya Safarova-Mathematics and Informatics Education, 610.30 points) to the participants. Moreover, Elshad Abdullayev introduced Khadija Abdullazadeh, who scored the highest results in Chemistry Education Department.

Head of the Department of Chemistry and Biology, PhD. in Chemistry Elmar Imanov made a presentation on the organization of distance education, lesson registration, subjects to be taught, as well as work potential.

          Elmaddin Huseynov, a lecturer at the Department of Mathematics and Informatics, gave detailed information about Student Information System (SIS) and its use.

After answering the questions of students, they had the opportunity to get acquainted with the Computer Lab.

At the end, English proficiency test was organized for first-year students.
