The opening of the “Cinema Club” has been held under Baku Engineering University (BEU) Student Trade Union Committee (STUC).

The event brought to attention the activities of the club, which was created to increase the interest of young people in film art and bring together film lovers, as well as information about membership in the club. It was noted that by organizing the screening of local and foreign films on various topics, the club will form artistic and aesthetic taste in students, instill positive values ​​in them, as well as provide education about the development of the film industry of different countries.

Later, the work of the famous American director Chris Columbus was discussed, fragments from various films he made were shown, and interesting discussions were held around the problems addressed here and the messages given.

It should be noted that currently more than 20 student clubs are actively operating under the BEU STUC.
