Department on work with enterprises and career and Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences have jointly organized a training for students, as well as a presentation of the book “B4B: Business to Business”, which received positive feedback from a number of prestigious companies around the world, at Baku Engineering University.
In his opening speech, Zamin Babashov, the deputy dean of the faculty, emphasized the importance of the event in terms of a new approach to business management. Moreover, he expressed confidence that the training of Abbas Abbasov, a graduate of the Stockholm School of Economics, a manager and entrepreneur with over 25 years of management experience, and his book “B4B: From Business to Business would be useful for the event participants.
Later, the trainer Abbas Abbasov provided extensive information about new ideas and innovative opportunities in business. He also touched upon the topics covered in the book “B4B: From Business to Business” written together with his colleague, business consultant Vladimir Klimov, highlighting the ways in which leading companies in the world achieve sustainable competitive advantage. A.Abbasov noted that the presented book examines the phenomenal success of influential global companies, the secrets of the B4B concept they apply, and answers are found to questions about how they can compete in business.
Emphasizing that the book was translated into Azerbaijani with the support of the “NAR” company, A. Abbasov added that students would be able to obtain innovative opportunities and interesting practical tools from the publication in the future in the direction of business management, strategy building, product development, sales and marketing.
At the end, the author presented a total of 60 books to the event participants and the BEU library.
