Nazrin Najafli, a first-year student of the "Information Technologies" Department of the Faculty of Information and Computer Technologies of the Baku Engineering University (BEU), has been awarded the first place in VII Robot Olympiad held among teenagers and young people.
The "Falcons" team (Nazrin Najafli, Amin Najafli, Sevindik Alasov), represented by BEU students, won the qualifying round for Azerbaijan in the competition held at the National Gymnastics Arena. In the competition with surprise rules and bonus points, the team won the first place in the "Robomission Senior" category. Diplomas and medals were presented to the winners.
The winning teams won the right to represent our country at the World Robot Olympiad, which will be held in Izmir, Türkiye, from November 28 to 30 this year.
Of note, the competition was jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the World Robot Olympiad Association and the Azerbaijan Robotics Engineering Academy.
