BEU-INHA DDP students attend research program in Korea

Madina Nurizada, Sabina Alizadeh, students of the "Electronics Engineering" specialty, and Murad Ibrahimov, Elton Satiyev, the students of the "Information Technologies" specialty of the dual degree program (BEU-INHA DDP) conducted between Baku Engineering University and the Inha University of the Republic of Korea are participating in the research program "Cloud and Edge Computing" .

In the framework of the program, which is designed to understand and learn to work with Edge Computing and Arduino systems, students learn how to integrate various sensors, and then explore the areas of Linux, GPIO programming, and data collection through sensors.

Moreover, the program covers the basics of Cloud Computing and teaches data visualization by connecting devices, including Raspberry Pi, to the cloud.

As part of the research process, students will deploy AI models on Edge using NVIDIA Jetson Xavier on more complex topics.

For your information, 83 students majoring in information technology, construction, electrical and electronics engineering are currently studying their last year at Inha University within the DDP based on the 3+1 model. Students' living, education, travel and insurance expenses are paid within the framework of the "State Program for Increasing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023".
