Baku Engineering University (BEU) has organized a training for examiners.
In his opening speech, BEU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Hamzaga Orujov noted that the spring semester examination session for the 2021/2022 academic year has started today.
Informing about the purpose of the training, the Vice-Rector emphasized that teachers and supervisors have a great responsibility in assessing students' knowledge. Underlining that the invigilators should take the exam process seriously, Hamzaga Orujov stressed the importance of familiarizing them with the prepared instructions and expressed his confidence that the exam session would be successful.
Bayram Huseynzada, BEU Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, pointed out that the training was organized to discuss in-depth the problems that might arise in the exam. Stating that examination headquarters had been established at the faculties, the Vice-Rector cited the main responsibilities of the appointed officials. Bayram Huseynzada focused on disciplinary issues in the examination process and mentioned the need to follow the rules.
Delivering a presentation, Sevil Imanova, Head of the Quality Assurance Department, acquainted the participants with the instructions for organizing the exam. Speaking about the powers of invigilators before and during the exam, S.Imanova noted the important points in the instructions. She also touched upon other significant issues to be considered during the examination process.
The training continued with answering the questions of the participants and discussion of various proposals.
