Vice-Rector of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics of the Republic of Ukraine, Professor Murad Omarov has visited Baku Engineering University (BEU). Rector of BEU, Professor Havar Mammadov stressed the high level of relations between Ukraine and Azerbaijan owing to the policy pursued by President Ilham Aliyev.

     Touching upon the issues of cooperation between the two universities, the rector informed the guest about the activities of BEU, material and technical base, scientific and academic staff potential, international relations, and development strategy.

    Professor M. Omarov spoke about the University he represented, as well as opportunities for cooperation with BEU. He said that 8,000 students studied at the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. About 1,000 of them are foreign students from 50 countries. Teaching is conducted in Russian, Ukrainian and English. He noted that they were interested in implementing student-teacher exchange programs, joint conferences and projects with BEU.

    During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the signing of a memorandum on a dual degree program between BEU and Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.
