Faculty of Information and Computer Technologies
The Faculty of Information and Computer Technologies trains highly qualified specialists who will work in various fields of industry such as information technologies, computer engineering, information security, cybersecurity, data analytics, network administration, etc., at all levels of education, which is one of the main requirements of the modern era. All specialties at the faculty are taught in both Azerbaijani and English languages. Classes at the faculty are conducted by teachers with extensive experience, including doctors of science, doctors of philosophy, professors, and associate professors. At the same time, highly qualified specialists with professional experience from institutions specialized in relevant fields are involved in teaching at the faculty.
The Faculty of Information and Computer Technologies has the necessary material and technical base, as well as research and educational laboratories that meet modern requirements. The Cybersecurity Laboratory, established under the faculty and equipped with the most modern devices and equipment, is one of the unique laboratories in the republic in terms of its purpose and software-technical capabilities.

The faculty has more than 1,500 students in total studying in 7 bachelor's programs, 4 master's programs, and 8 specializations, including foreign students from 22 countries around the world.

The faculty implements education through dual degree programs in a number of specialties. Specifically, within the framework of the dual degree program with INHA University of the Republic of South Korea, personnel training is conducted in 3 specialties:
- Information Technologies
- Computer Sciences / Artificial Intelligence
- Data Analytics / Data Science
At the same time, the faculty implements a dual degree program in "Computer Engineering" with Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
The curricula of all specialties in which specialist training is carried out at the faculty have been prepared in accordance with the Educational Programs approved by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, taking into account the experience of leading foreign universities. The curricula include the teaching and learning of information technologies, computer systems and networks, information security, cybersecurity, programming, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other cutting-edge technologies of the modern era.
The faculty's graduates do not face problems with employment in their specialties. In fact, some of our students studying in final years are invited to continue their education at prestigious universities around the world, while others receive offers to work in state and private organizations operating in various fields of our republic.
