About Department

At the Department of Azerbaijani Language and Pedagogy, the following subjects are taught at both master’s and bachelor’s levels across all specialties of BMU, aimed at improving students’ behavior culture in business and academic environments, academic writing skills, language proficiency, and teaching pedagogical and psychological knowledge:

• Academic Writing and Ethics
• Higher Education Pedagogy
• Psychology
• Modern Teaching Methods
• Business and Academic Communication in the Azerbaijani Language
• Azerbaijani Language for Foreign Students

The teaching of these subjects plays a significant role in forming university students as modern and well-rounded individuals with high professional competence, and in enhancing their academic, communicative, and cultural qualities. The Department of Azerbaijani Language and Pedagogy actively participates in the university’s social life, organizing events and academic seminars that contribute to the development of national ideology among students. The department also hosts the student club “The Power of Words.”
