About Department
The Department of Logistics and Transportation Technologies was established by the order №3272 of the rector of BMU dated 04.10.2021 (based on the decision of the BMU Scientific Council meeting dated 28.09.2021). Since 2024, it has been named the Department of Logistics and Transportation. In the 2025–2026 academic year, the department’s teaching load is 7,122 hours. Currently, the department has 14 teachers and 1 laboratory assistant. Among the teaching staff, 8 are full-time, 5 are part-time invited externally, and 1 works on an hourly basis. The staff includes 4 PhDs in Technical Sciences (t.ü.f.d.) serving as associate professors, 1 PhD serving as senior lecturer, 6 senior lecturers, and 3 lecturers. The department has 385 undergraduate students, 14 master’s students, and 1 doctoral student studying part-time.
