Winter examination session of the autumn semester, which began on January 5, has ended at Baku Engineering University (BEU). During the session, students took a total of 1273 exams.
The number of participants per room was regulated according to the principle of social distance, and the examination staff was provided with appropriate protective equipment in the exams organized in accordance with the existing rules of the pandemic.
Rector of BEU, Professor Havar Mammadov, the University administration kept the process in the spotlight and observed the exams.
All necessary measures were taken in order to hold the winter exam session in a transparent manner and in accordance with existing rules. Transparency, impartiality and objectivity were ensured in the assessment of students' knowledge.
The Appeals Commission was established to promptly eliminate any negative situations that might arise during the examination session. All opportunities were created for students to apply to the commission after the exam.
The Commission received 279 appeals during the session. According to the decision of the commission, certain adjustments were made in the grades of 95 students. In some of the appeals, technical errors were eliminated. In another part, the decision of the members of the commission was based on the fact that the answer sheet of the students had certain nuances in their favor.
In general, the exams were successfully completed.
