Meeting with group representatives of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences

Baku Engineering University (BEU) has hosted a meeting with group representatives of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. 

Opening the meeting, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty, PhD. in Economics Elsevar Ibadov noted that such meetings were traditionally organized. Stating that a selection was held to evaluate the activities of the group's representatives, the Deputy Dean emphasized that valedictorians among group representatives of each specialty were determined in the autumn semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. Touching upon that a group of students, teachers teaching subjects throughout the semester and tutors of relevant specialties took part in the voting, E.Ibadov stressed that it would continue in the next semesters. In his speech, he also spoke about the issues of education and discipline.

Dean of the Faculty, Associate Professor Mayis Azizov stressed the sognificance of the meeting and discussing issues of interest to students in the organization of the educational process. Pointing out the organization of teaching and teaching aids, the dean added that getting acquainted with the documents in the Student Information System (TIS) was of importance. The Dean congratulated the group representatives on the upcoming Novruz holiday.

Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty, PhD. in Economics Khanlar Heydarov highlighted the results of the last semester. Speaking about the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers to soften the quarantine rules, Kh.Heydarov added that relevant work had already been done in accordance with this decision, including the preparation of lesson schedules.

Later, in the autumn semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, valedictorians among group representatives of each specialty were awarded gifts.

The event ended with answering students' questions and making various suggestions.
