The next meeting of Scientific Council has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU). 

Rector of BEU, Professor Havar Mammadov congratulated the participants on the upcoming Ramadan holiday and conveyed his best wishes to the University staff.

Emphasizing that the first quarter of this year was behind, and the country was developing dynamically in all areas under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the Rector underlined that reforms were being continued in the education system and significant achievements had been made.

By speaking about the successes of BEU, the high results achieved by students in various competitions at the national level, as well as about the main tasks ahead, Havar Mammadov added that the state of educational work, preparations for the spring examination session of the 2021/2022 academic year, results in BEU-INHA Dual Degree Program, implemented for two years, would be discusses at the meeting. 

Later, reports entitled “State of educational work at BEU. Improving the work with Student Youth Organizations,” by Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Bayram Huseynzada, “Preparations for the spring examination session and measures for its organization,” by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Hamzagha Orujov, and “Current state of education in dual degree programs and the results of the winter examination session” by Vice-Rector for International Relations Manafaddin Namazov were listened to. 

The reports focus on enlightening students, increasing their creative and intellectual skills, educating them in the spirit of loyalty to the ideas of statehood, military and patriotism, as well as on the measures taken in various directions related to the sociopolitical and sociocultural life of our country, the activities of student youth organizations, student clubs, the tasks ahead in the spring exam session, possible problems and solutions, the implementation of the dual degree program.

Afterwards, the opinions of the members of the Scientific Council, heads of respective structures on the reports, as well as on various issues on the agenda were heard at the meeting, and relevant decisions were made.

Concluding the meeting, Rector Havar Mammadov gave instructions to the heads of departments.
