Baku Engineering University (BEU) has hosted an exhibition of handicrafts by fourth-year students of Design Department entitled "The Miracle of Clay". The event was attended by the Rector of BEU, Professor Havar Mammadov and the University administration.

Head of the Department of Architecture and Design, Professor Sabir Orujov, Associate Professor Yasin Khalil gave detailed information about the exhibition to the participants. It was noted that patterns were made on widely used ceramic decorative materials. Students prepared various vases, figures that reflected our ancient cultural heritage from clay.

The Rector got acquainted with the exhibition, looked at the handicrafts and talked to the students. Noting that the organization of such exhibitions was a great stimulus for young people, Havar Mammadov said that today in our country, where great landscaping and construction works were carried out, there was a need for educated, young architects and designers.

Havar Mammadov spoke about the active role of youth in the process of restoration and development of territories that had been subjected to Armenian vandalism for many years after the victory achieved in the 44-day Patriotic War. Emphasizing the contribution of talented and educated youth to the systematic and purposeful measures taken under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev to revive the Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions, Havar Mammadov congratulated the students who celebrated New Year as citizens of the winning country on the occasion of World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year, and conveyed his best wishes.
