A training session on "Rules of Conduct Related to Emergency Situations" was conducted at Baku Engineering University (BEU) by staff members of the Ministry of Emergency Situations' (MES) Sumgayit Regional Center.
The purpose of the event, held with the participation of university staff, was to instill safety habits and increase awareness about proper conduct rules during emergency situations.
During the training, Elchin Mammadov, chief advisor of the Public Awareness Sector of the MES Sumgayit Regional Center, provided detailed information about types of emergency situations, rules of conduct during fires and earthquakes, and measures to be taken to ensure safety.
Another staff member of the Center, chief advisor Kamilla Gadimova, provided participants with necessary information about the danger of carbon monoxide poisoning, ways to prevent it, and first aid measures.
Within the framework of the event, video footage was shown regarding proper conduct during fires, earthquakes, as well as emergency situations that may occur in residential premises. Additionally, the rules for using fire extinguisher cylinders were explained in a practical manner.
Participants emphasized the importance of the training and noted the significance of holding such educational events on a regular basis.
