Awareness-raising events have been launched in secondary schools in connection with the Dual Degree Program implemented between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and INHA University of South Korea. The first event took place at the Natural Sciences Gymnasium in Sumgayit.
Director of the gymnasium Nizami Ahmadov spoke about the successes of the gymnasium students and their highest results in the exams organized by the State Examination Center (SEC). Highly appreciating the implementation of the Dual Degree Program between BEU and INHA, N.Ahmadov noted that the meeting was important in terms of obtaining detailed information about the program, and had a positive impact on students' choice of university.
Director General of BEU-INHA Dual Degree Program Humay Jafarli emphasized that training specialists was carried out in Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Electrical Engineering in accordance with the program implemented for two years.
H.Jafarli said the program aimed to train a new generation of specialists in the country, who met the requirements of the XXI century, by using the most advanced scientific achievements and innovative teaching technologies. Underlining that the program was based on the 3 + 1 model, the Director General added that the students would study 3 academic years at BEU and 1 academic year at INHA University.
Mentioning that the program was fully funded by the state, H.Jafarli said that conducting classes according to a fully synchronized curriculum of both universities was one of the benefits of the program. H.Jafarli spoke about the employment opportunities of graduates, giving detailed information about the terms and the admission rules of the program.
Later, Hyunjin Yang, INHA Project Director of BEU-INHA DDP, highlighted that INHA University was one of the leading universities in South Korea in the fields of engineering, business administration, medicine and social sciences. INHA Project Director of BEU-INHA DDP emphasized that according to INHA University rankings, it was ranked 8th among 189 universities in South Korea, adding that more than 20,000 students study at the University. Touching upon the advantages of the program, Hyunjin Yang pointed out that the students would get an opportunity to pursue their master's and doctoral studies in South Korea with scholarships, learn international experience and acquire modern knowledge and skills in the above-mentioned engineering fields, as well as to visit and work with world-renowned companies such as Samsung, LG, Hyundai and Kia. At the end of his speech, Hyunjin Yang thanked the state of Azerbaijan for developing such a program for the young generation.

The meeting ended with answering the questions of the students.
