According to the relevant order of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Emin Amrullayev, a group of educators have been awarded on the occasion of October 5 - World Teachers' Day. Among them is the dean of Education Faculty of Baku Engineering University (BEU), associate professor Elshad Abdullayev. He was awarded the badge "Advanced Education Worker of the Republic of Azerbaijan" for his services to the development of education and high achievements in the field of education of the younger generation.

It was noted in the Order that the consistent measures taken to stimulate the work of teachers as a result of the attention and care of President Ilham Aliyev led to an increase in the prestige of teachers in our country and a significant increase in interest in teaching.

Moreover, the Order noted that important initiatives were taken by educational bodies and teachers of general education institutions to ensure continuity of education in the context of the pandemic, and the "TV Lessons" and "Virtual School" projects successfully continued.
