A meeting has been held at the Baku Engineering University (BEU) with the delegation headed by Behiyye Çavuşoğlu, vice-rector of the World Peace University of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, acting rector.

Yagub Piriyev, rector of BEU, informed the guests about the material and technical base of the university, the teaching process in which the English language is preferred, the implemented projects, the existing and new specialties that are planned to be taught from the next academic year. The rector also talked about the international relations of BEU, which was recently accepted as a member of the Organization of Turkish States Turkish Universities Association (TÜRKÜNIB), and drew attention to the possible directions of cooperation with the World Peace University. 

In turn, Behiyye Çavuşoğlu brought into consideration the necessary information about the activities of the young higher education institution he represents. Giving detailed information about the specialties of the university, especially the Faculty of Engineering, the artificial intelligence laboratory, the guest pointed out that they are interested in establishing and developing relations with BEU.

At the meeting, bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs at World Peace University, scholarship offers were presented, and a promotional film about the higher education institution was shown. Moreover, the establishment of student-teacher exchange programs, the organization of joint conferences and scientific researches, the preparation and implementation of projects, as well as the possibilities of cooperation in common specialties were considered.

Then the guests got acquainted with the material and technical base of BEU, Cyber ​​Security and other laboratories, modern auditoriums.
