A delegation of Azerbaijani universities sent to Russia has visited St. Petersburg to discuss the prospects of academic cooperation. Within the framework of the visit, a number of important meetings were held at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and St. Petersburg State Universities of Industrial Technologies and Design to expand opportunities for cooperation in the fields of education and research.
Sevil Imanova, head of the Strategy and Quality Assurance Department representing Baku Engineering University (BEU), was also part of the delegation. During the meetings, issues of strengthening cooperation in areas such as student and teacher exchange and joint research projects between the higher education institutions of the two countries were discussed.
The development of international relations in the field of education was taken into account at the business meetings held at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.

The purpose of the visit was to support the development of scientific and educational relations between Azerbaijani and Russian universities, as well as the implementation of mutually beneficial projects.
