A concert program has been organized on the occasion of May 28 - Independence Day by the Music College under the Azerbaijan National Conservatory at the Baku Engineering University (BEU) .

Students of the college performed various musical numbers at the event, which was attended by university professors and students.

At the concert, the works of Fikrat Amirov, Gara Garayev, Suleyman Alasgarov, Said Rustamov, Tofig Bakikhanov, Rauf Hajiyev, Agshin Alizada, Rauf Mammadov, Dmitriy Shostakovich and other well-known composers were performed by talented young people and laureates of Republican competitions.

Rector of BEU Yagub Piriyev expressed his gratitude to the students and staff of the music school, led by the director of the Music College, tarzan, honored art worker, professor Nazim Kazimov for such a great concert program. The Rector shared his impressions about the young talented students of the Music Collage, which celebrated its 125th anniversary last year, produced world-famous musicians, and played a great role in the formation of our musical culture, and stressed that he has no doubt that they will be the ones who will make new contributions to the musical art of Azerbaijan in the future. Yagub Piriyev congratulated the guests and the staff of the university on the occasion of Independence Day and conveyed his best wishes to them.

In turn, the director of the Music College Nazim Kazimov gave brief information about the Music College, which has been training professional musical personnel for our country for many years and has rich traditions. Conveying his most sincere congratulations on the occasion of the holiday and stressing that they are happy to perform with a concert program at BEU, the professor expressed his gratitude to the university management for the conditions created.
