Inter-student chess tournament dedicated to 8 November-Victory Day has ended at Baku Engineering University(BEU).

Students from all faculties of BEU took part in the tournament organized by the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC) of BEU and the Sports Department. The final stage of the tournament was held in two groups, boys and girls.

Murad Seyidzada, a second-year student of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction, Elmir Mammadov, a second-year student of the so-called Faculty, and Novruz Nabiyev, a first-year student of the Faculty of Engineering, were awarded first, second and third places, respectively.

Aysel Alizadeh, a second-year student of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction, took the first place, while Narmin Hasanzadeh, a third-year student of the Education Faculty, the second place, and Aysun Hajiyeva, a second-year student of the Education Faculty, the third place.
