BEU student competes with best junior public speakers from 54 countries

  The world's 39th largest public speaking competition has taken place in London. The best junior public speakers from 54 countries participated in the competition.

   Adil Gafarli, the winner of the “Azerbaijan Public Speaking Competition” represented Azerbaijan in the competition.

   “Azerbaijan Public Speaking Competition: Junior League” project was held with the participation of 108 representatives of youth from 10 private schools, state schools and 11 universities. The best junior public speaker of the project Adil participated in the International Public Speaking Competition held in London. Auditory and jury highly appreciated Adil’s speech and he was awarded “The Best Impromptu Prepared Speech” diploma.

   The competition, which began in 1980, today covers 1.000.000 young people from 54 countries around the world. "The English-Speaking Union" cooperates with “Azerbaijan Public Speaking Competition” in Azerbaijan. Junior public speakers-the winners of APSC are sent annually to London to represent Azerbaijan in the international arena within the framework of the cooperation.

   Azerbaijan Public Speaking Competition (APSC) is the platform that fosters future leaders, speakers in Azerbaijan. Platform also collaborates with “The English Speaking Union” and USA.“Public Speakers Association” PSA.
