Employees of Baku Engineering University (BEU) Etibar Gahramanov, Mammad Huseynov, Kamran Shiraliyev and Javanshir Salmanov have taken part in a meeting organized within the Erasmus + KA2 project "ITACA-Innovative Training Center to support a 3rd cycle Advanced Education Course to face Environmental Emergency in Azerbaijan".
At the event in Rome, Italy, the project manager, Professor Luca Di Palma spoke about the current state of the project and future steps.
Later, the project partners from Europe and Azerbaijan, including the lecturer of the Department of Industrial Engineering at BEU M. Huseynov made a presentation on the work done in accordance with the work plan and answered questions addressed to him.
The partners discussed the activities and opportunities of the Innovative Training Center (INC), established in Azerbaijan within the ITACA project and equipped with modern equipment. Moreover, they exchanged the views on the names of the main subjects to be taught in 3rd cycle Advanced Education Course to face Environmental Emergency in Azerbaijan, the dates of preparation and delivery of the new curriculum, the rules of selection of teachers, the selection criteria for students to study and research, the quality organization of courses and the accreditation. Issues such as the final status of the project's work packages, organization of advocacy work, details and planning of future activities (next meetings, bilateral agreements, preparation of the project manual, etc.) were also considered.
During the two-day event, the participants got acquainted with several laboratories of the Sapienza University of Rome, as well as historical sites of Rome.
