BEU students win right to participate in international training

The 13th Azerbaijan International Education Exhibition EduExpo, organized at Baku Expo Center, has also played an important role in building relationships between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and foreign universities. Thus, the representatives of foreign universities visited BEU stand during the exhibition.

Manafaddin Namazov, Vice-rector for International Relations of BEU, and Arif Najimov, Head of International Relations and Project Management Department, made discussions in the direction of the establishment of cooperation and the preparation of joint projects with foreign university representatives. One of the discussions was conducted with Iosefina Blazsani-Batto, director of the Romanian Language and Culture Center in Azerbaijan. During the meeting, it was suggested joining BEU as a partner in the project entitled "The Solution is Less Pollution" implemented by the center. The project is implemented within the framework of Erasmus + programme funded by European Union.

At the meeting, the participation of BEU students in the project was agreed. Then, interview was conducted with the students applying to the Erasmus + programme. Taking into account the fact that the students were very active and possess high English proficiency, project manager decided to extend the positions intended for the students from 3 to 4.

Laman Aliyeva, Naila Seyidova, Rafi Tagizada and Arzu Tosayeva won the right to participate in the international training to be held on Deceber 2-12, 2019 in Brilon, Germany.  Moreover, Leyla Rzazada, Zahra Nakhchivani, Nijat Nabiyev and Fatma Abaszada, BEU students, were selected for the position of Public Relations Manager, and the working group of the project, accordingly.
