On the occasion of the 101st anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, an awarding ceremony has been held for the winners of the artistic creativity competition-festival organized among students of higher educational institutions.
The university students who participated in the competition with the organization of Baku Engineering University (BEU) Art Department head, Doctor of Philosophy in Artology Zamina Akhundova, were among the winners.
Aysu Jabrayilova, a 3rd-year student of the "Urban Planning" specialty of BEU, was awarded the "Vocal" nomination, Guler Hamzayeva, a 3rd-year student of the "Information Technologies" specialty, was awarded the "Fictional Reading" nomination, Gunay Nuruyeva, 3rd year student of "Electrical and Electronics Engineering" specialty, was awarded the 3rd place in the competition in the "Solo dance" category.
At the event, the winners were presented with honorary certificates and valuable gifts.
In the competition-festival organized by the Ministry of Science and Education and the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Azerbaijan Educators, self-activity creative collectives, associations and studios, solo performers, amateur singers, dancers, artistic reciters, dance groups, consisting of students studying in 26 higher educational institutions, participated.
In the second stage, the performers and collectives whose performances received positive feedback won the right to participate in the final concert held in the Heydar Aliyev Palace, and the winners of the competition were chosen from among 3,000 students.
