BEU students participate in trainings as part of project implemented with support of UNESCO

Students of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have successfully completed trainings organized within the framework of the project "Increasing the participation of girls in engineering education for sustainable development" implemented by Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) with the support of UNESCO.  

Under the organization of BEU Technopark and Engineering Faculty, 17 BEU students attended the training. 

The training involving not only BEU but also female students of Azerbaijan Technical University, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Baku Higher Oil School covered the topics of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), electronics, design and programming, engineering design, Python (programming language) and the promotion of women's participation in engineering. 

Each student who successfully completed the one-week training program were awarded certificates and prizes .

Of note, these students will be involved in additional training at the BMU Technopark. Therefore, they will have the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice, develop their own projects in groups and submit them to the Enactus Azerbaijan and Enactus Global competitions through the Enactus BEU team.
