Rector of Baku Engineering University (BEU) Yagub Piriyev has met Kamran Mammadov, a member of the martyr's family, who was admitted to the "Chemical Engineering" specialty of the university this year.

Congratulating the son of martyr Elshan Mammadov on getting the title of student, the rector wished him successful university years, as well as to become a good specialist in his chosen specialty and contribute to his homeland.

Noting our rightful fight for the freedom of our lands that were under the occupation of Armenia for 30 years, Yagub Piriyev emphasized that under the leadership of the Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, our people signed a great victory, the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was fully restored, and that this Victory chronicle was written by the lives and blood of our martyrs and veterans. 

Mentioning that the memory of our martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the freedom of Karabakh is always remembered with respect, the rector emphasized the work done by the state for the social protection of their families as well as our veterans.

Yagub Piriyev was interested in Kamran Mammadov's education and social problems, and the rector gave tasks to relevant persons to further increase attention to him during his studies.

It should be noted that Kamran Mammadov's father, Elshan Ali oglu Mammadov, a junior sergeant, was martyred on September 21, 2020.
