BEU organizes training to improve “Use of Google tools”

Center for Distance Education and Quality Assurance of Baku Engineering University (BEU) has organized a training. 

In her opening speech, Sevil Imanova, Head of the Quality Assurance Department, noted that the center organized trainings in various areas over the past year. By emphasizing that the next training aimed to improve “Use of Google tools," S.Imanova added that the event was intended for tutors and laboratory assistants of the University. She underlined that an exam would be held at the end of the training, and two different certificates would be issued based on the results. At the end of her speech, Sevil Imanova wished success to the participants.

BEU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Hamzagha Orujov stressed the significance of the training participated by tutors and laboratory assistants. Underlining the need to pay special attention to issues, including course registration, opening of electronic journals, the Vice-Rector reminded that the spring examination session was approaching, and touched upon important points in this regard.  

Pointing out an active role of tutors and laboratory assistants in solving many issues, BEU Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Bayram Huseynzada said that they bore a great responsibility. In his speech, the Vice-Rector highlighted the attendance and discipline issues at the University, and the importance of following the rules. 

Later, Fuad Gurbanov, a specialist of CDEQA, delivered a presentation on "Use of Google tools."  

The questions of the participants were answered in the interactive training.
