A total of 7 universities from Azerbaijan are included in Great Britain’s QS World University Rankings of developing countries in Europe and Central Asia for 2022.

Thus, Khazar University has been ranked 211-220, Azerbaijan State University of Economics 221-230, Baku State University 251-300, ADA University 301-350, and Baku Engineering University, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University 401-450 in the QS World University Rankings.

The ranking is based on teachers' experience, the proportion of foreign students, as well as reputation and academic reputation among employers.
