Employees of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have visited AVT Logistics LLC.

Dean of Engineering Faculty, assoc.prof. Huseyn Mirzayev, Head of the Department of Logistics and Transport Technology Engineering, assoc.prof. Bakhtiyar Namazov and assoc.prof. of the Department Nijat Karimov observed the work of the company. Furthermore, the representatives of the University were interested in the performance of students majoring in Logistics and Transport Technology Engineering and undergoing internship in the organization included in "Veyseloglu" group of companies.

During the discussions, Parviz Gasimov, Head of the Human Resources Department and Member of the Management Board, Elmin Aliyev, Head of the Warehouse Operations Department of Araz Supermarket LLC, Fuad Shabanov, Head of the Human Resources, Rasmiyya Rzayeva, Head of Career Planning, Training & Corporative Division, and Ravana Mammadova, Training and Development Specialist provided detailed information about the work of the organization. 

The meeting discussed opportunities for future cooperation between BEU and the company.

At the end, BEU employees got acquainted with the work process of the company's closed warehouse.

Of note, AVT Logistics, with a closed storage area of 48,000 square meters and a capacity of 87,000 pallets, is the largest warehouse in the Caucasus, and also provides a large part of the country's demand for daily consumer goods.

The company carries out storage, preparation, ordering, packaging, labeling, distribution and return of food and non-food products. The most advanced software and technologies are used for systematic management of warehouses.
