Baku Engineering University (BEU) Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Hamzagha Orujov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs Elchin Suleymanov and employees of the Quality Assurance Department have participated in the International Week held within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme.

The main goal of the event, organized under the title "Quality assurance in higher education", was to bring the existing experiences in quality assurance of the universities of foreign countries, including the universities of England, Sweden, Spain, Italy, Turkey and Poland to the higher educational institutions of Azerbaijan.

Specialists from 7 universities from 6 leading European countries, and about 70 delegations from 33 higher education institutions from Azerbaijan participated in the event organized by Baku Business University. At the meeting, presentations were held on a number of topics, including "Role of quality assurance in higher education", "Essence and benefits of self-assessment activities in quality assurance", "Evaluation of academic staff at universities", "Role of deans in quality assurance".
