The article, authored by Bilal Dedayev, Head of the Department of Social Sciences at Baku Engineering University (BEU), has been published in the 100th issue of the international indexed magazine "Turkish Culture and Hacı Bektas Veli Research Quarterly" included in the SCOPUS platform.

The article "Hurufism and Bektashism in Ottoman-Azerbaijani Socio-Cultural Relations" examines the spread of the alphabet, formed in Azerbaijan, in the Ottoman Empire since the late fourteenth century and the role of Azerbaijani Hurufi thinkers in this issue. Moreover, according to sources, Bektashism, which played an important role in the establishment and development of the Ottoman Empire, existed in Azerbaijan, especially during the Safavid state. While noting all this in the article, the influence of the medieval socio-philosophical and cultural environment of Azerbaijan on the formation and activity of the two trends was also studied on a scientific basis.

The author used numerous Ottoman and other sources of the time in compiling the article.
