The XVIII of the Turkish Historical Congresss initiated by Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in 1932, is being held between 1-5 October 2018. The special reports on the history of Turkey are shown in this Congress. The articles on philosophy, sociology, law, science, technology, education, economics, communications, international relations, art and archeology that are related to the history of Anatolia, the Balkans, the Caucasus, the Middle East and the Far East, Turkestan, Africa and Eurasia are accepted at the conference.
In this year, more than 700 scientists from around the world participated in the conference. The head of Social Sciences department, associate professor Bilal Dedeyev participated in the conference with the article named "The family of Tajahmadzadeh from Garabagh in Ottoman Empire". His article drew the attention of scientists and was listened carefully.
