The international programming trainings and contest, Hello India x Russia Programming Bootcamp ACM-ICPC 2018 was held on 22-30 March in the Amrita School of Engineering, India with the co-organization of Harbour Space UniversityAmrita School of Engineering, CodeforcesMoscow Workshops ACM-ICPC.

This year Azerbaijan was represented for the first time in this program by Baku Engineering University team with the initiative of Baku Engineering University Technopark. "BEU Programmers" team (Rashad Mammadov, Mahmud Allahverdiyev, RasulKarimov), led by EtibarSeyidzadeh showedexcellentresults: in seven competitions they took place second place twice and first place five times. Hence our team became the winner of “Hello India x Russia Programming Bootcamp ACM-ICPC 2018” Final Contest receiving the gold medal.

International trainings conducted by well-known Russian experts in this area are aimed at preparation forACM-ICPC International Programming competitions.

28 higher education institutions, 3 colleges and 39 teams from 8 countries (India, Azerbaijan, Jordan, Lithuania, Oman, Russia, Singapore, Japan) participated in trainings and competitions.

It should be noted that "BEU Programmers" participation in this program sponsored by local companies such as AzEduNet, Innovative Technologies in Education,Edumedia Azerbaijan, Ultra Technologies, andENGINET.
