On June 23-27, within the framework of the Erasmus + KA1 exchange program of the European Union, a lecturer of Civil Engineering Department of the Engineering Faculty at the Hacettepe University, Mehmet Doğruluk visited the Baku Engineering University. The guest mainly visited Architecture and Civil Engineering Department of the Engineering Faculty of the university and its laboratories, and received detailed information about the university and its activities. It should be noted that the guest was met by the dean of the Faculty of Engineering Afar Alifov, lecturer of "Architecture and Civil Engineering" department Arzu Mammadova and consultant of Foreign Relations and Project Management Department Arif Najimov, and discussions about faculty, chair and wide joint programs and projects were carried out.
Morever, the guest gave detailed information to the workers of our university about the activity of the Civil Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Hacettepe and the innovations in the teaching process and implemented projects .
As a result of the fruitful discussions, opportinties such as strengthening their partnerships, improving their curriculum in some areas of engineering, working together on scientific research, as well as preparing scientific articles and publish articles in universities or international scientific journals, together participating in international projects (Erasmus + KA2, Horizon 2020, etc.) and the developing of double diploma program in the field of civil engineering were discussed.
Our University has a contract with the University of Hacettepe as well as the European Union within the framework of European Union Erasmus + KA1 and Mevlana exchange programs. This means that the lecturers of the Baku Engineering University can continue their education for a week, while their students can continue their education for one or two semester at the Hacettepe University with the relevant (contractual) specialties.
At the end of the exchange program, Hacettepe University's lecturer thanked university administration , vice-rector for international affairs, foreign relations and project management department and all workers of the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering for their hospitality and wished them success in their work.
On the last day of the successful completion of the program , the certificate was given by Dean of Faculty of Engineering Afar Alifov on behalf of university administration to the lecturer participating in exchange for the Erasmus + KA1 exchange program and memorable photos were taken .
