In the cities of Ganja and Mingachevir, an educational meeting has been organized with students regarding the international double diploma program (IDP) implemented between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Inha University of the Republic of Korea.
About 170 entrants who applied for the 1st specialty group took part in the meeting organized by the Ganja-Dashkasan Regional Education Department at school No. 28 in Ganja, and about 100 students took part in the meeting held at school No. 16 in Mingachevir.
During the meetings, the program secretary of the BEU-INHA DDP Nurlan Astanov informed the applicants about the BEU-INHA DDP implemented within the framework of the "State Program for Increasing the International Competitiveness of Higher Education Institutions in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023" and about the wide opportunities created by the program for students. mentioned. Noting that the program is fully financed by the state, N.Astanov emphasized that in the program based on the 3+1 model, students will study for 3 academic years at BMU, and 1 academic year at INHA University of the Republic of Korea.
Nurlane Abaslı, a specialist in work with students of BEU-INHA DDP, informed the students about the rules of admission to the program, passing scores for majors, internal exam conditions, and the application form. Mentioning the dates of admission to the program, N. Abaslı spoke in detail about the documents needed during the application.
BEU-INHA DDP project director Hyunjin Yang spoke about Inha University and noted that the higher education institution was one of the leading higher education institutions in the field of engineering in the Republic of Korea. Later, the project director gave a detailed speech about the presence of world-famous companies in the Republic of Korea, as well as other advantages of the program for students. It was pointed out that the students will study on the basis of the curriculum synchronized by both universities, and at the end they will receive two diplomas. The students' participation in the 3-week summer school in the Republic of Korea, as well as the opportunities to continue their master's and doctoral studies there with a scholarship, were discussed in detail.
At the meetings, booklets containing information about the dual diploma program were distributed to the applicants and a promotional video of INHA University was shown.
At the end, the questions of the applicants were answered.
It was noted that the online registration process for BMU-INHA IDP is ongoing. The last date for the registration process is August 9, 2023 at 11:55 PM. Documents must be submitted in the form of an online questionnaire by the specified date. The internal exam for admission to BMU-İNHA IDP will be held on August 12. Exam results will be announced on August 17.
A total of 123 people are expected to be admitted to the 4-year undergraduate program in English, including 35 people majoring in Information Technology, 25 majoring in Civil Engineering, 28 majoring in Electrical Engineering and 35 majoring in Electronics Engineering (more information about the program can be found in the announcement).
